LE BONHEUR
Chardonnay
Le Bonheur’s Chardonnay vineyards benefit from the shadow of Klapmuts Hill on summer afternoons. This cooling effect results in a long and moderate ripening period and wines with delicate citrus notes and distinctive minerality. A component of this wine is matured in 300L French oak barrels, which adds to the elegance and complexity of this special wine. Enjoy with grilled prawns or line fish, with a lemon butter sauce.

LE BONHEUR
Sauvignon Blanc
Recognised as one of Stellenbosch’s iconic Sauvignon Blanc’s since the 1970’s, Le Bonheur’s Sauvignon Blanc is made in a classic and elegant style. The wine is a blend of two contrasting vineyards, which, combined, yield the perfect balance. The one vineyard is planted right on top of Klapmuts Hill, at an altitude of 450m. This cooler site produces zesty and crisp Sauvignon Blanc, with a refreshing natural acidity. The second is an old stalwart of Le Bonheur: planted in 1977 and one of the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in Stellenbosch. This remarkable vineyard gives Le Bonheur’s Sauvignon Blanc a distinct richness and depth. The perfect summer wine. Enjoy with fresh oysters or lobster.
